Beer industry 101 — we Canadian’s drink a crazy amount of beer per year. Where do we rank globally?
Beer 101 — ingredients and brewing process.
Styles 101 — Lagers and Ales and everything else.
Beer and Food Pairing. — The three ways and the eight techniques you need to know.
Sampling — learn to taste and evaluate beer as a Cicerone and a Beer Judge. We’ll sample 6 different styles of beer that are available near you and even have the possibility of pairing with food items if you would like..

Your Host: Steve Riley is the Founder and President of BetterBeer.com and one of only 150 Certified Cicerones™ (Beer Sommelier) in the world and one of only eight in Canada. Steve is also a Recognized Beer Judge who helps judge home brewing and commercial brewing competitions and most recently judged the 2010 Canadian Brewing Awards.

Helping elevate the status of beer through these seminars, Steve delivers the material in an easy to understand, repeatable style so that you can navigate your way through the over 400 brands available today.

Beer 101 Seminar fees: $1,000 in the GTA, 1,500 for the rest of Ontario, 2,200 per day everywhere else.
