W ant to get out of the bar
business because you don't like the crazy late hours? If you like the bar biz,
but don't want to work until 3am anymore, we've got an awesome job for you. You
like beer? Even better!
Draught
Prophets is a relatively new company (18 months old) that is looking for a rep
based in Mississauga. Your territory
would require an occasional trip to London/KW, but mainly around the west and
central parts of the GTA. We're getting new accounts everyday and we need some
help.
Who are we??
We help bars pour better draught beer. We clean draught
lines, we service draught systems, we help bars make more profits, and we
educate servers & bartenders on proper pouring and beer sales (up selling).
We’re a different type of draught service company.
So, what are we looking for?
We will gladly interview someone who has ALL of the
following:
- at least one year
of BAR MANAGING EXPERIENCE who can coach bar staff.
- good technical
skills - good with tools/fixing things/troubleshooting.
- a valid driver's
license with CLEAN ABSTRACT.
As a
Draught Prophet, you will be responsible for only about 40 accounts. Line
cleaning needs to be done when the account is closed, so count on working every
Thur-Sun 8am-7pm. Afternoons are reserved
for preventative maintenance, account audits, and service calls.
Typically you will only work 3 afternoons during a work week, but you
need to be available for service calls during your scheduled shifts, Thur-Sun
8am-7pm. This means that you will have a
4 day work week, 3 days off each week (M-W).
We can chat about this in more detail later.
We'll give you a nice new company vehicle to drive as well.
Next steps:
If you don't know
the difference between a coupler and a regulator, no problem. We send you down
to the states* for the third week in Sept. to attend Draught Beer School where
you'll become a Certified Draught Technician. Upon your return to beautiful
Ontario, we'll work with you for a bit to ensure that you are comfortable in
handling common situations.
(*Due to those
pesky US Customs folks, you'll need a passport and be able to cross the border.
We cover your travel expenses.)
This is an
exciting time for us as a new company. We are experiencing controlled growth and
plan to have several more reps within the next couple of years. Getting in on
the ground level now may set you up with a fantastic career in the bar
biz…without the crazy late hours.
Cheers,
Steve
